A self-made documentary exploring alternative ways of living, Achter de Horizon takes you on a two-month journey through Central America in search of inspiration beyond the boundaries of conventional modern western life.
With a crowdfunded budget and a backpack full of curiosity, we met communities and individuals reimagining how to live, connect, and thrive outside the mainstream.
This film is a personal exploration — raw, honest, and driven by the desire to ask: What lies beyond the horizon of the world we know?
